Types: double cross, single cross, twin horn, inclined horn, etc. Body: carbon steel casting (ZG230-450) or low-alloy steel plate welded. Base welded or bolted to deck/dock. Rope passes around and secures to head/hook. Withstands tension from berthing, wind, waves, tide. Designed per class society rules with type approval and material certificates.
